Raksha Bandhan is a special occasion to celebrate the bond
between brothers and sisters symbolized by the tying of a holy thread Rakhi
around the wrist of brothers
So on this Raksha Bandha we organized a Rakhi making
competition at our school.The competition held in two groups (First Group from
class I to IV and second from V to VIII) aimed at enhancing the potential and
exhibiting talent of students and to instill the virtues of love and harmony
among the young. All the children participated with great zeal in the creative
competition of Rakhi making.
The competition saw a number of creative and colourful Rakhis being made
by the students. The Rakhis resembled a fusion of modern with traditional style
and different un used materials
